Pearline Alicia Blackwood is an Immigration attorney with offices in New York and Florida where she has been practicing all areas of immigration and naturalization law for the past 25 years. She earned her Juris Doctor and her Bachelor of Arts degree from Nova Southeastern University in Florida. Attorney Blackwood is licensed to practice law in Florida by the Supreme Court of Florida and the in the2nd Circuit Court of Appeals (New York, Connecticut and Vermont) and 11th Circuit Court of Appeal (Florida, Georgia and Alabama). She is a current member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association since 11/2001.
Pearline has held board member positions at Caribbean Transformation Resource Center (2000 – 2001) and the New York Center of Truth (2003 -2004). She is a former Radio Show Presenter on immigration matters (New York and Connecticut) and Public Speaker at Monroe College, American Association of University Women (AAUW), New York; St. Francis University, Brooklyn, New York; and various churches and community groups in the New York area. Attorney Blackwood brings an inspired and empowering perspective to the legal profession as a woman of color and an immigrant herself.
