Enrique Garcia was born in Cuba and immigrated to the United States at the age of five, growing up in Union City, New Jersey. At 18, he proudly served in the U.S. Army before beginning a career in construction, helping build national brands such as White Castle, Chili’s, McDonald’s, and numerous other commercial projects throughout the country.
After gaining extensive industry experience, Enrique transitioned into residential and commercial development throughout Hudson and Bergen Counties, building projects of his own and expanding his expertise as a contractor and entrepreneur. In 2009, he purchased his first CNC machine to complement his construction business, producing custom furniture, architectural millwork, signage, and specialty projects. This CNC machine became his first introduction to robotic automation in construction and manufacturing.
As labor costs continued to rise, Enrique and his team began exploring emerging technologies. In 2020, inspired by conversations with his sons, they started researching 3D concrete printing as a way to improve efficiency and reduce construction costs. After years of research, site visits, and evaluating different technologies, they partnered with a Florida-based manufacturer in 2024 and began integrating 3D printing into real-world projects. Initial applications included custom columns, shower walls, steps, retaining walls, sculptures, and other architectural elements.
Combining decades of construction experience with a strong foundation in CNC automation, Enrique and his team ultimately took on one of the most ambitious residential 3D printing projects in the country—a 7,500+ square foot home in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The success of that project reinforced his belief that robotic construction represents the future of the building industry.
Today, Enrique continues to advance the adoption of construction robotics, working with leading equipment manufacturers to develop faster, more precise systems. His mission is to reduce construction costs, accelerate project timelines, and create building methods that are less dependent on highly specialized labor, helping make quality housing and construction more accessible for future generations.
