Kathleen Day Bio
I am an author and former Washington Post business reporter (for more than two decades) who since 2013 is a full-time faculty member at Johns Hopkins University’s Carey Business School, specializing in financial crises and economic history. In addition to continuing as a contributor to the Washington Post, my third book, on why banks fail, is coming out as an Audible Original book in March—that means I wrote the book for Audible, with only audio versions available, no print. I am writing my fourth book, for W.W. Norton, on corporate governance, with a focus on what CEOs do and how the role has evolved since it emerged in the 19th century during the industrial revolution.
