Dr. Harleen Hutchinson, IMH-E®, is a nationally recognized leader in pediatric behavioral health and early relational health. She serves as Executive Director of The Journey Institute, Inc., consultant faculty with ZERO TO THREE, and Vice President of the Alliance for the Advancement of Infant Mental Health. As an Associate Editor for the World Association for Infant Mental Health (WAIMH), she elevates diverse global voices in the field.
A past president and current board member of the Florida Association for Infant Mental Health (FAIMH), Dr. Hutchinson was honored with the 2020 FAIMH “Answering the Call” Award and the 2024 William Schafer Leadership Award in Reflective Practice from the Alliance for the Advancement of Infant Mental Health. She leads statewide workforce development initiatives, co-leads Broward Healthy Start’s Safe Sleep Initiative, and contributes to the Florida Maternal Mental Health Collaborative. Her work in trauma, maternal mental health, and attachment is guided by her core belief: “Planting seeds, one relationship at a time.”
