Welcome to our 27th edition of Henry Watts Real Estate & Lifestyle Magazine.
Happy Father’s Day!
To honor Fathers, we present historic male role models who have bestowed our country with greatness with their leadership in engineering, technology, sports, science, activism, art and more.
Water is making people sick in America and around the world. The United States has one of the safest drinking water in the world. However, approximately 7.2 million Americans get sick every year from diseases spread through water. It is SCARY!
Many believe that the lack of “good water” is purely an example of racism at its best. The plight of our disease-ridden water is not just racism at work. It is a reflection of classism, politics, economics and our water infrastructure system.
Dr. Upmanu Lall, renown water specialist, is the Director of the Columbia Water Center and the Alan and Carol Silberstein Professor of Engineering. Part I of his video will capture your attention. You will probably never drink water from your faucet again (especially without a filter). I know I won’t.
December 12th Movement gave us permission to feature their video about dangerous water in Jackson, Mississippi. It is sad and unsettling.
In Part II, Steve Bartley continues his saga of being unsheltered (homeless) and discusses what steps he believes the Mayor and New York City Council should take to overhaul its Voucher System.
Immediately after Steve’s story, we present our video that is directed to NYC Mayor Adams. Please view the video and sign our petition.
