Try these spontaneous games with your kids while you’re waiting at the doctor’s office, driving the car, or looking for a device distraction. Or play them on a date for a little lighthearted fun:
- The question game: Try having a conversation using only questions.
- The story game: Start a made-up story, then pass it around, allowing each person to add a little more to the story.
- The laughing game: Try to make one another laugh by staring or making faces.
- The ABC game: Use a phrase, like “My name is Alphie, and I eat Apples.” The next person uses the same phrase with B, “My name is Billy and I eat Bananas.” Continue through the alphabet.
