Our first article, “Celebrate to Win” reminds me of a dear friend of 20+ years. His name is Sir James Robinson. He received is Knighthood from Malta in 1985. Every morning, Sir James celebrates life by throwing glitter on his face. He is 80+ years old, a sun worshiper and a “Fun Guy”. He is a father, grandfather and great grandfather. Sir James is a licensed and registered architect who still designs and builds structures in various state in the U.S. I want to “grow up and be like him”. I am honored and proud to include in this edition, a “snap shot” of a novel written by a beloved friend and writer of articles (four part series called The History of LGBTQ People) for our magazine and patron of our restaurant. Mark Salzwedel’s novel is called The Lever. The Lever is a sci-fi futurist tale with LGBTQ characters. It’s intriguing and you will want more. You can purchase his book at Amazon. Also, book signing is schedule on July 9, 2022, at Seven Restaurant located at 470 Nostrand Avenue, Brooklyn NY 11216. For cat lovers, Cheryl Foster, CPA and Poet has contributed a poem called Sleep. It’s a somber poem about her “third child” – her cat.
